Jahnelle
Garcia

Jahnelle Garcia is a nurse practitioner, small business owner, and devoted mother, and she's ready to bring that same commitment to serving the people of House District 27.
Jahnelle grew up in a family that built something from nothing. Her parents owned and operated a local business, and from an early age, she learned what hard work, responsibility, and community really mean. Those weren't just values she inherited. They became the foundation of everything she's built.
Her path to healthcare wasn't a straight line. It was shaped by life, by struggle, and by a deep desire to do more for the people around her. At 30, she made the decision to begin her nursing career, a leap of faith grounded in purpose. It turned out to be exactly where she was meant to be.
Today, Jahnelle is a certified nurse practitioner and the founder of La Vita Bella Home Healthcare and Vitality Health & Wellness, two New Mexico healthcare organizations built on a simple belief: every person deserves to live with dignity, independence, and quality of life. Her teams provide patient-centered home healthcare and whole-person wellness services to families across our community, day in and day out.
Through that work, Jahnelle has seen things most politicians never will. She's been in the homes of struggling families. She's watched loved ones navigate a healthcare system that too often fails the people who need it most. She's helped patients hold on to their independence when everything felt uncertain. Those experiences didn't just shape her as a healthcare provider. Instead, they lit a fire in her to advocate for real, practical change.
Her businesses are not just serving patients; they are giving back. Through partnerships with global humanitarian organizations, Jahnelle's companies support child sponsorship programs and clean water initiatives around the world. Because she believes that strong communities have a responsibility to lift up those beyond their own borders, too.
Above everything else, Jahnelle is a mother. Her children are her north star: the reason she shows up every day, and the reason she decided to run for office. She wants them to inherit a New Mexico that works: a state where families can afford to live, businesses can afford to grow, and communities can afford to dream.
Guided by faith, driven by compassion, and grounded in real-world experience, Jahnelle Garcia is running for New Mexico House District 27 because leadership means more than casting votes. It means standing up for the people you serve—even when it's hard.
Jahnelle Garcia. Ready to serve. Ready to win.
